The Net – Angela Bennett is a computer geek. She receives a program, and is requested to de-bug it. Soon after getting the program, the man who sent it to her is killed. What’s on the disc is of crucial significance to someone. They know she has it, and she is now running for her life as she attempts to figure out just who is after her, and why.

Strange Interlude – A Eugene O’Neill drama that displays the confused web of the variation between our thoughts and our words. Norma Shearer is cast as a woman who lost the love of her life when he was shot down in WWI. The movie speaks of romances and marriages between Nina and three men, only one of whom she loves. It is about growing old without settling their complications. This is a fascinating motion picture, with Shearer at her brilliant best. The cast list includes Norma Shearer, Clark Gable, Might Robson, Maureen O’Sullivan, Robert Youthful, Ralph Morgan, Henry B. Walthall, and Alexander Kirkland. (110 minutes, 1932)

On Guard – A devoted swordsman saves a child princess from the wicked grasp of her malicious rival. The tot’s dad was also the swordsman’s teacher. A enjoyably old-styled popcorn film that is full of action and set in the France of Louis XIV. Cast includes Daniel Auteuil, Fabrice Luchini, Vincent Perez, Marie Gillain, Yann Collette, Didier Pang, and Philippe Noiret. (128 minutes, 1997)

Slavers – (1978-German) C-I02 Slavers is about the slave trade commerce that went on in Africa during the 19th century. An outstanding cast is saddled with second-rate script.
