If you are seeking online success with your business, then SEO search engine optimization is essential. Without adequately optimizing your website for search engine spiders or algorithms, you have little chance of your site receiving visible listings on the search engine results pages. Regardless of whether you use a service for pay per click advertising-like Google Adwords or another service-or rely solely on free traffic generated by the search engines organically, targeted traffic is the key to your website’s success. But many businesses invest in these types of services, never realizing how much money they are wasting because their websites are not search engine optimized and they aren’t getting the results they expected. When a spider crawls your site-or reviews it via a system that helps place your website in the rankings-then your design, ease of site navigation, the structure by which your links are arranged, and your headings and keywords are taken into account. In this arena, the various parts of your site are all components of your search engine optimization plan. This is why it is important to be attentive to all areas of your site’s structure and design.

Most people don’t really understand the concept of SEO or really know the best way to optimize their success. And they don’t understand how critical search engine optimization really is. It is a huge key to their success as an online business.

But you’ve got to do more than just read about SEO. You need to take action, put it into practice, and see the results it generates to completely comprehend its importance. The proof of its effectiveness is in the success of your online business.

There are still professionals who believe that you must have 2% – 3% keyword density on your page. But I know that what they say is rubbish: contextual relevance is what search engines are seeking these days, not interminable repetitions of keywords that will achieve nothing but get your site lost in the supplementary results that nobody sees.

There have been a large number of changes in search engine optimization over the last few years, and SEO is no longer what it once was. However, what won’t change is the benefit to you of having a full understanding of the principles behind the actions you are taking when optimizing your website form search engines such as Google.
