The Slackers: Three college buddies have cheated their way to senior year, however while nerdy Schwartzman finds their secret, he blackmails them into setting him up with campus beauty Baron. Cry Wolf: A group of appealing, unlikable prep school learners play a prank on their classmates bye-mailing a chain letter claiming that there’s a masked slayer on the un-tight. Not surprisingly, a genuine slaughterer shows up to kill the members of the gang one by one. This first time controller won a competition that presented him 1,000,000 dollars to make a film; he trashed an incredible possibility. Cast includes Lindy Booth, Julian Morris, Jared Padalecki, Kristy Wu, Sandra McCoy, Jesse Janzen, Gary Cole, and Anna Deavere Smith. (90 minutes, 2005)
Absolution: Young Benjamin Starfield is tired of being the teacher’s favorite at his Catholic school. So, he decides to play a joke on Father Goddard (Richard Burton). Jarhead: This movie takes you from boot camp through a tour of duty in the Gulf War. As the soldiers poor into Iraq they meet little resistance. Many of the soldiers are eager to see some action. It’s what they have been training for.
